In the last few weeks I've had an awakening of sorts to the story I've been called to live. More accurately I should say it's been a re-awakening.
As life get's busy and trials fill my days, my senses become dull to the beauty of the monotonous moments that fill my day and compose my story.
As each day unfolds, bringing a fresh page to the story, I've rushed through, skimming, scribbling, but not taking the time to savor and meditate on the beauty of the mundane details that are the adjectives in this story.
Here's to a conscious effort in slowing down and noticing the exquisite details in each moment of my story. Let not life rush by like the whir of a speeding car, but let me stroll through the days, pausing to see, savor and five thanks for each and every moment.
