I first met Lindsay a couple of years when she brought her daughter to me for a one year session and we’ve been friends ever since. Lindsay has a joy and enthusiasm for life that is contagious. Motherhood is so becoming on her.
Her and her family joined me at the studio when little O was only a few days old, and it was an honor to document the tiny details and fresh awe as they adjusted to being a family of 5.
Newborns change so quickly, and those tiny newborn features quickly fade as they approach the end of that first month, which is why my preference is to do a newborn session in the first two weeks. The newborn stage is so brief and within in a blink it has faded. The goal of a newborn session is to preserve the tiny details and emerging personality of your fresh newborn. Your newborn is the star of the session, with the beautiful neutral wraps, backdrop and studio surroundings. I specialize in baby led posing, which allows me to preserve your newborn’s favorite positions, many of which they favored in the womb. The studio closet is stocked with gorgeous dresses and gowns to make mothers feel like a princess and a selection of neutral clothing is available for the rest of the family, simplifying the preparation for a session for families. You will find the studio warm, cozy and relaxing during your session. There is space for siblings to play and plenty of time to relax and feed your little one whenever they need a break.
Once your session is complete, each image is hand edited and will be presented to you at your ordering appointment as a real, tangible print that you can hold in your hands. At your ordering appointment you choose your favorite images and products for purchase. Fine art framed prints, albums and wall galleries are all custom designed and delivered to you ready to display in your home. No need to try and sort through images on a computer screen, resize and go through the hassle of ordering yourself. No need to keep them hidden away as a digital file until you have time to print them. We take care of the details of printing and ordering, guaranteeing your images are printed to our color and tone specifications on high quality archival paper.
